A Day at the Zoo

Today my good friend, Vicki, and I made a trip to the Zoo in Evansville. The weather was perfect, and although the animals were not a cooperative as we would have liked, it turned out to be a great day for our day at the zoo! There are far too many pictures for me to put on one blog so I will just put some of the highlights on here.

One of the most difficult pictures to capture, was the monkeys, since they enjoyed swinging from tree to tree. Which of course made them Cole's favorite, and inevitably led to us having to watch Curious George once we got home.

I was most interested in the felions, which also took some patience, since they seemed to be lazy as usual. But after circling back a few times, I was able to capture a few....

and of course, I could not pass up all the bright colors that reminded me that spring is finally here!!
