And then came Fall....

I grew up in South Mississippi, and it is and always will be one of my favorite places to be. I moved to Owensboro, KY in the winter of 2008, and as you can imagine, I did not take well to the cold. I was pretty determined that I would never enjoy living up here. First there was the ice storm that took out the electricity for 2 weeks, and then the summers are no where near as warm as I am used to, which means very little time in the pool. Not to mention I miss my family terribly and often wish  I was near the beach again.

However, eventually Fall came around.....

I realized what I had been missing with all of the changing leaves and beautiful fall colors!

Although I will always miss the coast, I know now, that I can be just as happy living here......so long as I get to visit my family and friends in MS. I love the cool temperature, and the beautiful colors that you don't get living on the coast. I also look forward to our annual trip to Galtlinburg. I love driving through the mountains, and occasionally pulling over to wonder down a scenic trail in anticipation of  the beautiful view that awaits me at the end.

I absolutely love the Smoky Mountains this time of year, there is truly nothing like it!

And the boys.......

Well, they seem to enjoy being out in this cooler weather as well.

Beautiful inside and out!

Yesterday, I spent the day photographing two amazing seniors Aly (on the left) and Abbie Foster (on the right), and although the day may have gotten off to a hectic start, it turned out wonderful!

There is so much that can be said for these two ladies, and although they may be twins and so much alike in some ways, they are deffinately very stong individuals with their own opinions. As with most twins, they have a lot in common. They are both beautiful, and kind, share a wonderful group of friends and like many of the same things.

There is no mistaking Abbie's outgoing personality, and you can't help but love it!

She is fun and energetic, and can always make a person smile. She has so many interest, and is eager for the many opportunites that await her after high school. She seems to surround herself with people that are as amazing as her. Her boyfriend, Joey, is just as sweet as she is, and they make the cutest couple!

Aly, on the the other hand, comes across as a little more reserved, but once she gets to know you, you can't help but fall in love with her!

She is so positive and  kind natured, and just like her sister, she has so much going for her. She loves the camera, whether behind it or in front of it, so it is no surprise that she is interested in Broadcast Journalism.

Aly and Abbie are always there for each other, and there is never any doubt of how much they love eachother. There is nothing that these two wouldn't do for their sister.

Aly and Abbie, thank you so much for letting me take your senior pics, you two are so beautiful and such a joy to photograph!! Despite the obstacle courses I sometimes have you go through to get a photo done, you two are always eager and willing to make it happen (Like the long drive up there, or the steep hills and large rocks you had to climb).

And the perfect example of you two helping each other out is when I had you two walk down that steep hill for a picture. Abbie was concerned about Aly sliding down in the boots she was wearing, so she made sure she held on to her sister the whole way down. Then on the climb back up you two were there to support each other, just as I am sure you two will be there to pick each other up no matter what life throws at you. There is also no doubt that no matter what you two choose to do in life, you will succeed. You are both too strong not to, and you always have each other for support.

Jim and Cindy, you have raised some remarkable daughters to be proud of!
